Inspired by those rare moments of clarity along the north Norfolk coast — when weather lifts, horizons sharpen, and the ocean reveals itself in full — Clear Sight of the Ocean is a study in openness and light. Broad, expressive watercolour washes move gently across the paper, creating a feeling of air, depth and release.

The letterbox format emphasises the long sweep of sea and sky, encouraging the eye to travel slowly from edge to edge. Subtle tonal variations reward closer looking, revealing delicate transitions that echo shifting light across open water.
