At times, sea, sky, and land become one. The horizon dissolves; delineations soften and slip away. The landscape disappears into a seething mist, charged with movement and weather.

Inspired by the wild Cornish coastline, this intimate mixed media piece explores the visceral tension between land and sea — forces constantly shifting, colliding, and reshaping one another. Expressive washes, layered marks, and subtle textures echo the raw energy of the coast, where wind, tide, and rock vie for dominance.

Though small in scale, the work is complete in itself. Its modest size invites close looking, rewarding quiet attention and allowing the surface to reveal its depth slowly.
