Original, framed floral painting by Carolyn J Roberts
A beautiful, expressive mixed media painting — layers of watercolour, oil pastel, acrylic ink, and watercolour pencil intertwine to capture the fleeting delicacy of peony blooms. Their soft petals unfurl and fade in a breath, their heady fragrance lingering in the warm air long after dusk has fallen. It’s a gentle nod to lazy summer evenings, when the light stretches on and the garden hums quietly with life… a moment of stillness and abundance held in paint.
