Sitting by the river, coffee cup warming my hands, I found myself lost in the quiet choreography unfolding before me. A small cluster of reeds had begun to push their way up through the water’s surface — slender at first, then unfurling with a kind of quiet determination. They swayed in slow, unhurried arcs, following the river’s subtle pulse, rising and dipping as if answering some whispered call beneath the surface.

There was something deeply soothing about watching them stretch upwards toward the pale sky, their movements both delicate and assured. The riverbirds seemed to sense the moment too — moorhens slipping between the stems, ducklings weaving a loose, playful pattern around them. It was a scene that felt both ordinary and quietly extraordinary; a reminder of how much life happens in the gentlest of moments.
