An expressive small work inspired by the rugged terrain of the Isle of Skye — where rock rises steadily from the earth, shaped by time, weather, and the constant movement of air and sea. Where Rock Rises captures that quiet strength within the landscape, where form asserts itself through layers of mist, cloud, and changing light.
Created through oil paint monoprint and collage, the surface holds a rich, tactile quality that reflects the solidity of the land.
